The Urbana Junior High School Boys track team placed first in a home meet with Ben Logan, Tecumseh and Mad River. Winning for Urbana were Drew Carafa in the 100M dash(13.06), Tim Sidders in the 110M Hurdles(19.82) and Langston Kitchen in Pole Vault(8' 0"). Also scoring for Urbana were Nick Gavin, Justin Myers, Jack Harris, Mckay Lemieux, Jaylin Cameron, Mitchell Moyer, Swayde Finch, Jared Weller, Andrew Hecker, Cooper Johnson, Keith Gale, Tristan Williams
The girls team placed second behind Ben Logan. Winning for Urbana was Val Batova in the 100 Dash(14.53), the 400M Relay team of Val Batova, Hunter Rogan, Katy Curnutte, Morgan Hamilton,(55.94), Hunter Rogan in the long Jump(12' 8.75"). Also scoring were Molly Hamilton, Macy Pierce, Maggie Paulsen, Elaine Powell, Madisyn Horn, Sara Lingrell, Alexis Parker, Madison Larocque, Emma Burnside and Kaelyn Bertsch.

Winning for Urbana were Hunter Rogan in the Long Jump (13' 10") and Morgan Hamilton in the 100 Hurdles (17.95). Also scoring were Maggie Paulsen, Katy Curnutte, Kaelyn Bertsch and Val Batova
The boys placed third. Scoring for Urbana were Jack Harris, Keith Gale, Jaylin Cameron, Tim Sidders and Mckay Lemieux
The student Council is sponsoring a glad the OAA's are over party called Awesome Teen Extravaganza on Thursday May 4th from 3-5. There will be dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, a dance contest, music, and concessions. Come on out and party! Presale tickets for card holders will be 2.00, presale tickets for non card holders will be 3.00. Tickets at the door will be 5.00 for everyone.

This week's Hillclimber Award winners are Ciera Marchal, Alan James and Blaine Arms.
There are approximately 5 Washington spots available. They are filled on a first come-first served basis so get your payment in if you haven't already!
The Urbana Junior High School 7th grade volleyball team lost to Mad River 25-8, 24-26, 23-25. Morgan Hamilton served 19 points. The 8th grade lady Climbers won with scores of 25-7, 25-7. Tori Quesenberry served 11 points and Taylor Russell added 10. Braxton Rogan had 4 kills. Annie Tullis and Meredith Hiltibran each added 3 assists.
There will be a student council meeting on Weds. September 29th at 7:10 am in Mr McAndrews room.
On October 2nd, the volleyball teams are playing in a game to fight breast cancer. They are raising money by selling t-shirts. They are 10 each. If you would like one, please see Mrs. Poppel.

Your Freshmen class officers will be: President – Sara Trenor, Vice President – Kwyncie Purtee, Secretary – Becca Poppel and Treasurer – Kassidy Karnehm. Congratulations!

There will be activities going on the whole time, and you can help support our Urbana City Schools team. Wade Nichols and Natalie Hall will be dressed as King and Queen taking up donations from 7-8 PM on Friday. Wade will be dressed as the queen and Natalie as the king. There is a silent auction, cake decorating contest, and many more activities. Please come out and represent Urbana City Schools in this event. For your information – Graham always has a huge turnout of students walking the opening laps. I think we can be just as strong! Come and join the fun, but please remember that you represent Urbana City Schools. Make sure you wear something that says “Urbana” on it. Posted on the doors outside the office are walker times and a schedule of events. Hope to see you there!

The urbana girls Track team took fourth at the 12 team Graham invitational. Becca Poppel placed first in the 100 meter Hurdles(17.41) and the 200 meter Hurdles(31.95) and second in the High Jump. Also placing were the 400 meter relay team of Tessa Mcmanamay, Payton Moore, Kwyncie Purtee, and Tori Quesenberry placed 5th, the 800 meter Relay team of Mcmanamay, Purtee, quesenberry and sam Byers placed 4th, the 1600 meter Relay team of Michelle Hendricks, Mcmanmay, Katelynn Grigg, Purtee took 7th, Katelynn Grigg placed 8th in the High Jump as did Tori Quesenberry in the Long Jump, Erika Michael placed 4th in the discus and 7th in the shot. Dejah Andrews placed 8th in the shot, and Sara Trenor took 3rd in Pole vault.

The 400 meter relay team of Soto, Lasse, Jaymen Neff-Strickland and Drake Frost also placed second. Also placing were Jean Paul Soto took 6th in the 100 meter dash, Austin Curtis placed 7th in the 1600, Neff-Strickland was 8th in the 200 Hurdles, Reeves was 6th in the 200 and the Long Jump, The 1600 meter relay team of Frost, Curtis, Nichols, and caleb Rogan took 6th. in the Pole vault, Drake Frost placed 3rd and Colin Riley finished in 7th.

The urbana girls Track team took fourth at the 12 team Graham invitational. Becca Poppel placed first in the 100 meter Hurdles(17.41) and the 200 meter Hurdles(31.95) and second in the High Jump. Also placing were the 400 meter relay team of Tessa Mcmanamay, Payton Moore, Kwyncie Purtee, and Tori Quesenberry placed 5th, the 800 meter Relay team of Mcmanamay, Purtee, quesenberry and sam Byers placed 4th, the 1600 meter Relay team of Michelle Hendricks, Mcmanmay, Katelynn Grigg, Purtee took 7th, Katelynn Grigg placed 8th in the High Jump as did Tori Quesenberry in the Long Jump, Erika Michael placed 4th in the discus and 7th in the shot.
