Our Junior High Yearbook will be going on sale starting Feb.25 and continue on thru March 12th.We will be collecting $20.00 for this 32 page all color, glossy cover yearbook, if you pre-order your yearbook during the pre-sale. They will be delivered to the school in May.Since we order a specific number of books ordering a presale is the best way to save money.Some yearbooks will be for sale once they come in but the price will increase to $25.00.In these hard economic times it only makes sense to pre-order your yearbook today and save money.

The 7th and 8th grade girls will play in the CBC Finals on Wendnesday at Greenon High School.
There will be a student council teen night on March 5th from 6:00 to 8:30. the theme will be super heroes! You must have all you feees paid to attend. if you have any questions please come to the office.

Tanner Nichols 12 points~~ Record: 11-4~
The 8th grade girls defeted Bellfontaine 37-28 to advance to the CBC Finals.
Becca Poppel was the leading scorer with 14 pts and Sydnee Rogan had 10 pts.
The 7th and 8th grade girls will play in the CBC Finals on Wednesday at Greenon High School.
There will be a student council teen night on March 5th from 7:00 to 8:30.

Attention 8th grade boys that signed up to play baseball this spring. We will have a parent/player meeting this Sunday Feb. at 2:30 in the Cafeteria. The meeting will last approximately one hour. If you have any questions please contact Coach Bowdle in room C206.

The finals for the CBC Middle School Girl's Tournament will be played at Greenon on Wednesday, February 24. The 7th grade will have #1 seed Urbana taking on #2 seed Tippecanoe. Urbana will be the home team. Game time is 5:30 pm
The finals for the 8th grade will begin approximately 6:45 pm and it will have #1 seed Tippecanoe(Home team) playing the #2 seed Urbana.

Benefit Basketball Game
On Saturday March 20, 2010, a benefit basketball game will be played at the Urbana High School gymnasium. The game will be the Cincinnati Bengals vs. the Champaign County All Star Team. Pre-sale tickets are $8 and can be purchased from any high school baseball player or coach. Local school employees that will be participating in this event are; PLAYERS, Jeremy Dixon (varsity basketball coach), TD Evans (JV basketball coach), Travis Cross (JV baseball coach), Chuck Raterman (Athletic Director UHS), REFEREE, Todd Charles (Head golf coach), Mike Mays (Head track coach, asst. football coach), Charles Thiel (superintendent of Urbana City Schools). If you were contacted be the library regarding an overdue book, you have until Friday to return the books. Starting Monday, lunch detentions will be issued until all of your overdue books are turned in.
