Washington DC planning

The following students are not scheduled to go to Washington DC.  They will not be attending the meeting during 8^th period.  They are to attend their regular 8^th period.  Some students will be added to classrooms because their teacher is a chaperone for the trip

(Marino’s Tech Class will be covered by Woodruff).  All chaperones should attend this meeting.  Those students not attending the meeting are:

Goals for Study Island

Please share with students (7th and 8th grade) that Study Island needs to be completed in order to receive the incentive.

The requirement for grade 8 is:

• Complete 1100 questions (R-M-Sci) 
• 12 questions for each subset
• 70% passage in each subset
• Some content area teachers will be assigning questions . . . other areas may not (students are still expected to do all three areas)

The requirement for grade 7 is:

• Complete 750 questions (R-M)
• 12 questions for each subset
• 70% passage in each subset
• Some content area teachers will be assigning questions . . . other areas may not (students are expected to do both areas)

Incentive - -

8th grade scheduling parent meeting.

At 8:00 am 8th grade students will be having an assembly in the high school auditorium.  Mrs Petty would like teachers to walk students over to the high school.
The topic will be HS scheduling.  Please remind the students that the 8th grade parent meeting is tonight at 6:30pm. Students do not need to be present at this meeting, but are welcome.
