Recycling Event at Urbana High School

Did you know that plastic bag that diapers/baby wipes come in is recyclable?The cap from your Laundry Detergent, Dish detergent and spray bottle are also recyclable. Our local recycler does not take it. If these items are in your bin, they end up going to the landfill. However, Urbana H.S. Family & Consumer Science will collect those and send them into TerraCycle who can turn them into other products. If you would put these items in an envelope, bag or box and send them through the district mail and send them to me, we would gladly take care of them.
