ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM MAY 14th

On Monday, in the morning, all 8th graders will stay in the gym until they receive their schedules.

Next week, all 8th graders will eat first everyday.

Student council results are in. Your 2010-11 representatives are Eli deNijs, Jordan Ropp, Alex Niswonger, Barnaby Ofori, Seth Lingrell, Morgan Foster, Sara Trenor, Kwyncie Purtee, Becca Poppel and Kassidy Karnehm. Your Freshmen class officers will be: President – Sara Trenor, Vice President – Kwyncie Purtee, Secretary – Becca Poppel and Treasurer – Kassidy Karnehm. Congratulations!


Track uniforms are due overdue. Please turn them in as soon as possible if you haven’t already.

Any student who plans to play any school sport next school year needs to pick up physical information from the office.

Summer PE forms are available in the office.

Relay for Life starts Friday at 5:30 pm at the fairgrounds. It continues throughout the night and ends Saturday at noon. There will be activities going on the whole time, and you can help support our Urbana City Schools team. Wade Nichols and Natalie Hall will be dressed as King and Queen taking up donations from 7-8 PM on Friday. Wade will be dressed as the queen and Natalie as the king. There is a silent auction, cake decorating contest, and many more activities. Please come out and represent Urbana City Schools in this event. For your information – Graham always has a huge turnout of students walking the opening laps. I think we can be just as strong! Come and join the fun, but please remember that you represent Urbana City Schools. Make sure you wear something that says “Urbana” on it. Posted on the doors outside the office are walker times and a schedule of events. Hope to see you there!
