Daily Announcement for Jan 5th


Anyone interested in participating in the 2011 Junior Ohio Model United Nations should report to the library during homeroom tomorrow, Thursday, January 6th. This will be the only informational meeting.

The~8th grade girls team fell to 5-2 on the season, losing to shawnee, 47-29. braxton rogan led all scorers with 16 points.

The~7th grade girls lost to shawnee, 37-15. Brianna Trout was the leading scorer with 8 points and kayla byrd added 5.


The Urbana Jr High wrestling team crushed both Kenton and Bellefontaine in wrestling action last evening. Winning matched for Urbana were: Jaylin Cameron 2-0, Langston Kitchen 2-0, Jake Chamberlin 1-0, Taylor Thomas 2-0, Tim Sidders 2-0, Josh Baum 1-1, Aaron Kindler 1-1, Zack Michael 2-0, Ethan Edwards 2-0, Zack Wick 2-0, Joe Habodasz 2-0, Jack Harris 2-0, Jacob Angles 2-0, and Jay Scott 1-1.
Outstanding wrestlers of the meet were Ethan Edwards, Jack Harris and Jay Scott.

There will not be tutoring on Thursday due to the early dismissal.


The 8th grade Ambassador club will be meeting Thursday, Jan. 6th during homeroom and the 7th grade will be meeting Friday, Jan. 7th during homeroom.
