Champaign Community Christmas
Families with
children who believe their financial need may qualify them for Champaign
Community Christmas need to complete an application at the Community Center on November
7, 9, 10 and 15, 16, 17 from 11am-2pm or November 10, 15, 17 from 6-8pm. This program is in need of financial
support. If you are able, please
send a donation to Community Christmas, PO Box 294, Urbana, OH 43078.

Volleyball
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams. Both teams
won the CBC tournament!
Football
The Urbana 8th, grade football team lost to Graham 14-12. Sam
Nisowger and Shane Hollway each had a touchdown pass from Cameron Riegel. The team finished 5-3.
The total cost for the Washington Trip May 13-18, 2012 is $475. The second payment of $120 is due by November 18th. The last payment of $125 will be due
February 3rd. If for
any reason a student cannot go on the trip a refund may be requested prior to the refund cut off date
by sending a letter to the office requesting a refund and noting the amount
paid. Refund requests must be made
before March 23rd, 2012. Requests made after this date will not
be honored. Washington information

SPARKY PAINTINGS
The Urbana Junior High Student Council is selling SPARKY
paintings for your sidewalk and/or driveway. Using a "Sparky"
template, student council members and an advisor will spray paint Sparky on
either of the above mentioned areas for $15 each painting. Colors to choose
from are maroon, silver or white. Design can be seen on Washington Avenue and
Wood Street. Please call Krista Lingrell at 937-215-4442 or 937-652-1529 to get
your SPARKY today!

plan to attend conferences. If the following conference
schedule does not work into the family schedule, please try to come to the slot
and day that works best for you. Note: If your student has
Mrs. Morgan, Mr. Lammers, Mr. Sapp, Mr. Myers, Mrs. Padilla, or Ms. Martin,
these teachers will only be available on Thursday from 4:05 – 6:30 pm. Mr. O’Kane will be available in Mr.
LaValley’s classroom on Thursday from 4:05 – 6:30 pm. Please note that it is
optional as to whether or not you would like to meet with teachers and you may
set up a separate conference at any time throughout the school year if
necessary.
