The Urbana
Jr. High Wrestling team defeated both Tecumseh and Northridge last evening.
Picking up wins for Urbana were Jaylin Cameron, Braden Lehman,Mitchell Moyer,
Chance Miley, Langston Kitchen, Jacob Angles, Zack Michael, Jack Harris and
Keith Gale. Wrestlers of the week were Seth Miller and John Cordle.
The Urbana Jr. High Wrestling team placed 4th at
the Piqua Invitational on Saturday.
Placing 1st were Jack Harris, Langston Kitchen,
Jacob Angles and Zack Michael. Placing 2nd was Jaylin Cameron.
Placing 3rd was Braden Lehman.
Placing 4th was Mitchell Moyer. Placing 5th
were Keith Gale, Tim Sidders and John Cordle. The wrestlers of the week were
Jacob Angles and Zack Michael.

Girls Basketball:
The 8th grade girls improved to 2-3 on the season,
defeating Indian Lake 34-14. Katie Weinert led with 11 pts and Sara
Lingrell and Brianna Trout each had 6 pts. It was an all around great effort by
the team.
The 7th grade girls pulled out a close game to Indian lake,
34-32, to improve to 4-1 on the season. Madisyn Horn led with 12 pts, Hunter
Rogan had 11 and Madison Dolby chipped in 7 pts.
The 8th grade girls fell to 2-6 on the season with a loss
to Northridge, 40-19. Katie Weinert led the way with 10 pts.
The 7th grade girls improved to 7-1 by defeating northridge
middle school, 30-13. Hunter Rogan had 11 pts, Madison Dolby chipped in 7 and
Madisyn Horn and Madison Evans each had 5 pts.
The 8th grade Lady Climbers improved to 3-6 on the season,
beating Mechanicsburg, 52-9. Katie Weinert led the way with 19 pts. Katy
Curnutte contributed 15 pts including (2) 3's and Brianna Trout chipped in 10
pts.
