Volleyball:
The Urbana Junior High School 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams each started their season with a win against Indian Valley. The 7th grade won 25-6, 25-14. Macy Pierce served 9 points and Jennifer Tracy added 8. The 8th grade score was 25-9, 25-20. Payton Moore served 7 points and had 3 kills. Meredith Hiltibran served 6 points and had 3 assists.

The 7th and 8th grade Urbana Jr High School Volleyball team defeated Tipp City.The 7th grade score was 25-21, 25-18. Katy Curnutte served 8 points and Alison Fain added 6. The 8th grade score was 26-24, 25-15. Doree Schwarz, Barbara Ofori and Meredith Hiltibran each served 6 points and Abby Curnutte added 7 kills.


Football:
Urbana 8th grade football beat Tipp City 22-12. Jaymen Neff-Strickland had two TD's, Cody Grim and Nathan Mays hooked up for a TD pass, Mays had a 2-point conversion to Corey Fenton, Jessie Sparks added a conversion and Joe Habodasz had a fumble recovery.

On Wednesday, September 1st, the 7th grade Climbers opened the football season by traveling to Tippecanoe Middle School. Urbana won 26-0. Scoring for Urbana:
