Starting next week, honor society will be selling 1.00 cards in the cafeteria for Relay for Life.  This supports cancer victims with treatment, care and helping to find a cure.  You will be able to purchase a card and write your name on it, and then we will display cards throughout the cafeteria.  Show your support for a very worthy program.

Jr High cheerleading tryouts will be April 26, 27 and 29 from 6 pm to 8 pm.  Informational packets are available in the office.

The Urbana Junior High School Girls Track Team won over Graham, Tecumseh and Northwestern with 75 points. Placing first for Urbana were: Payton Moore in the 100(19.32) and 200(34.63) Hurdles, Latasha Hines in the 100(14.23) and Becca Poppel in the 400 meter Dash (1:08). Other placers include Aubrey Norris, 5th in the 100M Hurdles, Becca Poppel , 3rd in the 100, the 400 Meter Relay team of Tessa Mcmanamay, Payton Moore, Kwyncie Purtee and Tori Quesenberry in third, Katelyn Grigg was fourth in the 400 and Michelle Hendricks was fifth, The 800 meter Relay team of Tessa McManamay, Abby Curnutte, Kwyncie Purtee, Tori Quesenberry placed third,  Sierra Corbin took fourth in the 200 Hurdles, Sara Trenor, third in the 800, Becca Poppel, third in the 200 and Latasha Hines, fourth, the 1600 meter Relay team of Michelle Hendricks, Kwyncie Purtee, Tessa McManamay and Katelyn Grigg took third, Katelyn Grigg, second in the High jump, Sara Trenor, second in the Pole vault and Brookelynn Russell, third, Tori Quesenberry, second in the Long Jump, Erika Michael, second in the discus and Landre Neer, fourth, Dejah Andrews, second in the shot Put and Teya Buckney, third.

The boys also won with 95 points. Placing first was Kristoffer Hamilton in the 110 Hurdles (20.17), Caleb Rogan in the 1600 (5:31) and the 800(2:33), The 400 meter Relay team (53.07) of Jean Paul Soto, Jaymen Neff-Strickland, Drake Frost and Dillon Knueven, Dillon Knueven in the High Jump (5' 4"), Drake Frost in the Pole vault (7' 6"), Austin Curtis in the Long Jump (16' 9"). Other placers included Jaymen Neff- Strickland , second in the 110 meter hurdles and the 200 meter hurdles, jean Paul Soto , fifth in the 100 meter dash, In the 1600 meter run, Austin Curtis was second and Charles Sidders fourth, The 800 meter Relay team of Caleb Honore, Nathan Mays, Ethan Edwards, Jean Paul Soto were third, Kristoffer Hamilton took fourth in the 200meter Hurdles, in the 800 meter run, Charles Sidders was second and Colin Riley, third, Aaron reeves was second in the 200 and Dillon Knueven, third, the 1600 meter Relay team of Austin Curtis, Caleb Rogan, Drake Frost and Tanner Nichols were second, Nathan Mays, fourth in the High Jump, in the pole-vault, Colin Riley was second and Eli deNijs was fifth, Aaron Reeves , second in the Long Jump, Tanner Nichols was fifth in the Discus and third in the shot.
